November 29th: Rittenhouse, Waukesha, Police, & Sesame Street?

Lou opens the show discussing his thoughts on the Rittenhouse verdict. Was it fair? Unjust? First caller Mike asks Lou about the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy. How can someone with an outstanding warrant and a history of running people over be out on such low-cost bail? Who’s to blame? The justice system? Mental health? The next caller Ross is a freshman in high school and wants to know if Lou thinks higher education is for everyone. Lou talks about the differences between being a cop today with all the advanced technology versus his era in the 70s and 80s with paper trails and pounding the pavement. He ends the show discussing CPAC’s banning of Sesame Street characters because of Big Bird’s tweet about getting vaccinated.
